You're right--that creeped me out! I was watching a show on the History Channel the other night where scientists were discussing various scenarios in which our world would be destroyed, either by natural causes or by human causes. Interestingly, the number-three scenarios was that we would make machines that were so intelligent that they would turn against us and win! Maybe just because we can do something doesn't mean that we should do it.
